Effective Firearms Training

As with most activities, becoming proficient with firearms takes practice. In fact, it is often stated that to become proficient, one must shoot literally thousands upon thousands of rounds. And to maintain proficiency, one must continue to shoot hundreds of rounds on a very regular basis.
Practicing with a firearm can be a difficult and very expensive proposition. Not everyone lives close to a range. With work and family and the many other demands on our time, it is often difficult to find time to consistently visit the range. Add to this the issues with inclement weather (unless you are VERY lucky to have access to an in-door range), and regular visits to the range become a challenge for many of us.
