The OCAT System can improve safety as you use the system as compared to traditional firearms training.
- New shooters can get hours of hands on firearm’s training with the use of a laser training device. This allows the trainee to learn proper firearm handling techniques, muzzle control, and a shooter’s mentality long before they ever need to handle a loaded firearm.
- For experienced shooters use of a laser training device allows for hours of trigger time in the safety and comfort of their own home. One of the most important ways to improve safety is through continual practice. This system gives a way to obtain that practice without the cost and time a trip out to the range incurs.
- At the range, all of the equipment for the OCAT System is kept safely behind the firing line. The shooter does not have to go down range to mark the target, or cover shots as OCATS keeps track of old and new shots. This keeps the shooter safely behind the firing line.
- By displaying shots on a computer screen the shooter can maintain their shooting stance and muzzle direction and yet still see the exact placement of their shots. No need to go down range or look through a spotting scope.
